Homework Help
Staff are available to provide guidance in the use of the Library, its collections and resources. Orange City Library operates Homework Help @ Orange City Library Monday to Thursday from 3:30pm - 5:30pm, during school term. This desk is staffed by a qualified and experienced librarian, and it is intended to assist school students make optimal use of the Library.

Charlotte Calder
Charlotte Calder grew up in the Adelaide Hills and Darwin. She has worked as an actor, a photographer,
in public relations and as an occasional columnist for the Australian and the Sydney Morning Herald.
She lives near Orange with her husband and three children. Her first novel Settling Storms was
published in 2000 and her second, Cupid Painted Blind in 2002 and Charlotte's latest book
for young adults Surviving Amber was released earlier this year.
Dale Harcombe
Dale Harcombe was born in Sydney and has lived most of her life there. She has worked in a variety
of jobs including, with her husband, being houseparent to a family of twelve boys ranging from 4 to
15 years of age. Dale is a passionate supporter of Australian football, enjoys reading, singing and
live theatre, and collects wooden and ceramic owls. Dale lives with her husband in Orange. Her first
novel was Chasing after the wind.
