Orange City Library is partnered with the Orange Family History Group .
Their combined resources are held in the Library. These are a treasure trove for people interested in tracing their ancestors. Resources are available in a range of formats including CD-ROM, microfiche, microfilm, books, maps and the Internet.
Information available includes:

- Convict records
- Passenger and shipping records
- Census information and electoral rolls
- Newspapers
- Telephone and other directories
- Cemetery transcripts
- Access Orange Cemetery Database online
- Handbooks and guides
- Family History Newsletters
- Use of com and Find My Past in the Library
Volunteers from the Orange Family History Group are available each Friday at the Orange City Library from 10.30am – 3.00pm to help you with your research.

Blayney Library has an excellent collection held in conjunction with the Blayney Shire Local and Family History Group. Members of the Group are available to assist you with your research on request.
Cowra Library hosts the Cowra Family History Group in the Cowra Library building. Research enquiries should be directed to the group.
Forbes Library hosts the Forbes Family History Group at the rear of the Forbes Library building. Entry is from Harold Street. Research enquiries should be directed to the group.
