Cowra librarian Maryanne performed the duties of chief reader and organised a crafty crown to be made for National Simultaneous Storytime. Pat the dog was involved as well. Many of the children were babies in prams and their siblings, so the story about a new baby brother was relevant to the group assembled. One mum, Donna, who has been coming to storytime since the nineties with her children said it was the first time she and her child actually heard the story and saw the pictures. This is her last child and last year because Sarah starts big school next year. It was quite an emotional moment. We are pleased everyone enjoyed the story of sibling rivalry.
