Meet poet and author Judy Johnson
Judy Johnson has written five poetry collections, two novels and a verse novel Jack, which won the Victorian Premier’s Award. Judy has just completed a narrative poetry project funded by the Australia Council, surrounding the life and times of her two First Fleet African-American ancestors and is in the process of writing a memoir dealing with the same subject matter. Judy has won many writing prizes and is also a past winner of the Banjo Paterson Writing Awards. Meet Judy at the Readers and Writers Festival on Saturday 18 July at the Hotel Canobolas.
